Just got the email, 43 boxes o' Poe are arriving on the 15th!

That's basically the update! The envelopes and backpacks are finally finished so now everything's packed up.
They should be here in 6 weeks and shipping right away. Thank you everyone so much for your patience, I truly truly appreciate it!!

Now that I'm relieved they're on the way, I'm going to work promoting the pre-order and hopefully unlock another freebie item or two!
Currently the freebies are an enamel pin, sticker set, patch, and button

Also- the minky fabric used for the plushies this time looks much nicer! It has a shorter pile (height of "fur") so it doesn't really do that thing when you brush it with your hand and it looks darker/lighter lol. The little mini Poes also have a squishier belly now, I'm really happy with these upgrades :>

Alright so... good news and bad news-
Good news is, the new envelopes look great! The previous felt envelopes were of really questionable quality. I often had to resew the stitching, the heart buttons were scratched, and they were just generally a mess. When they looked great it was great but the quality was way too rocky and I'd end up with a pile of unusable envelopes.

Here's the new ones! Much much sturdier. I also ordered a bunch of extras this time since I know they're prone to getting lost or eaten by peoples dogs



Bad news... it's taken a very long time to get these envelopes made. I honestly thought it would take a few days to do the sample, few more days to send the sample over to my plush manufacturer to confirm it can attach, and that'd be that and we could do the bulk order. I've never had any sample take so long.

I was just told the bulk order of them will take 8 weeks...
This manufacturer is also making schoolboy Poe's little backpack, and I've worked with them before so I know the quality and everything will be as expected, but I really didn't expect this much of a wait for such a small item.

I'm very very sorry for the delay. I'll keep everyone posted as things move along, currently it's just waiting around.

The badly drawn Poe pins are in production now, along with the sticker set, patch, and badge. So I can pack up those freebie goodie bags for everyone in advance. I've also put aside all of the extra items everyone ordered so that I can pack and ship quickly. Once the plushies are here it'll be very smooth!

I've been hoping to post something more exciting but it's been a while so I just wanted to make a quick update on how things are going!

Poes are in production of course-
I've been not liking how the envelopes have been looking though.
I've asked the manufacturer of schoolboy Poe's bag to make Poe's Envelope 2.0 and am finalizing the samples for. It's taken a lil bit to coordinate with my plush manufacturer, and making sure we're all on board with the magnets facing the right way... finding the right materials to look cleanly made for something so small... 
Previous Poe envelopes were made of felt and were a bit flimsy, and the felt hearts were difficult to reliably be cut in the same shape, so these ones will be much higher quality! They're a thin PU leather with a heart patch. I'm also ordering a ton of extras. I know they're prone to getting lost so now if Poe misplaces his letter he'll be able to get a new one!

What else-
I'm not sure how many of you are from my social media things, but a bit from my personal life, I was able to visit my friends for the first time in years the other month which was during the plushie campaign. It got me motivated to work hard catching up with all of the million little tasks I need to settle before moving forward and I've been kind of obsessed with getting that all taken care of. So I apologize for not yet posting the designs of the freebie items! I'm planning to post them this week. I also unexpectedly just had to move my work room so I'm just about finished settling in and reorganizing. Spent several hours these days counting a million pins and doing data entry and all sorts of mindless tasks. But with those things nearly behind me, I've pretty much only got "draw," "pack orders," and "advertise" on the to-do list so I'm ready for all these Poes to get over here! I've also set aside all of the add-on items ordered, put all the lil pins on backing cards, got the goodie bags together, so that's another thing that'll make shipping go smoothly.
